At this Friday’s off-season meeting, we welcomed brand new faces to SuperNOVA. This meeting was full of first time experiences where we split our rookies into the teams they were interested in.
After interviewing our different teams, we were able to find out goals from our members, including our captains. When asked about their hopes for our offseason, co-captains Sophia and Jonathan said they were looking forward to meeting and leading our awesome rookies. Jonathan also shared his hope for our team to go to World Championships.
Our rookies from the mechanical team were equally eager to start this journey. Both rookies said they were excited to learn in depth about CAD and start working in a team with others. Both rookies shared their introduction to our team: one was recruited by a friend, and one was introduced by his VEX experience. If you want to join our team, regardless of whether you have prior experience in robotics like one of our rookies, join us next Friday!
