Volunteer

We owe SuperNOVA to the generosity of our wonderful adult mentors! Our mentors that come in with industry knowledge work with our students. They teach students how to safely operate machinery, guide them on the best way to complete tasks, and work alongside them to ensure the team’s success. Unlike other high school programs, FRC encourages collaboration with industry professionals. As a mentor, you get to take part in the fun too!

But you don’t need to be an engineer to be a mentor. Our adult mentors also serve as our guides, helping keep us accountable while teaching us project management and leadership skills. They write grants for us and help manage logistics.

As a mentor, you don’t have to commit to a certain number of hours, nor do you have to be in-person to help out. We appreciate any time and help you’re willing to offer us!
